Restylane in Los Angeles, CA
Not only do we want to correct the signs of aging but would love to be able to slow the aging process. Board-certified plastic surgeon Jaime S. Schwartz, M.D., F.A.C.S., helps hundreds of people throughout Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles, CA, and the surrounding cities correct and improve facial skin with Restylane® and other dermal fillers and injectables to restore a more youthful and smooth complexion.
What is Restylane®?
Restylane® is a dermal filler made from a clear, non-animal based, biodegradable gel that contains hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring substance found in the body that gives skin its moisture and elasticity. It is often used as an alternative to fillers, such as collagen because it contains no animal byproducts. As one of the safest dermal fillers, Restylane® diminishes creases, deep folds, and wrinkles, as well as laugh lines and fine lines around the mouth.
Benefits of Restylane®
Restylane® is part of a family of fillers that is often the “filler of choice” because it offers the following benefits:
- Safe for most everyone
- All natural ingredients with no animal byproducts
- Takes no more than an hour for the treatment
- Only one treatment needed for most patients
- Long lasting results, up to 12 months
- No downtime or recovery
Is Restylane® Right for Me?
Restylane® is popular because it contains no risk of an allergic reaction. Patients with more severe creases, folds, and deep wrinkles or who want to add volume to areas of their face are excellent candidates for Restylane®.
How is Restylane® Administered?
The process of administering Restylane® is easy, as it is injected into the targeted area using a very thin needle. The number of injections depends on how many areas need to be treated and the extent of their issues. Results are immediately noticeable and get better over time, lasting up to a year. If necessary, Dr. Schwartz applies a numbing cream to the injection site.
There is no recovery period with Restylane®; however, there may be a little redness at the injection site. Patients often schedule appointments during lunch so that they can return to work or their daily activities immediately following the treatments.
How Much Does Restylane® Cost?
Restylane® treatments may be combined with other cosmetic treatments or procedures and may be injected into several areas of the face. Because of this, the cost varies with each patient. Our financing page provides information about payment options.
